IP & Counterfeit Policy
Effective date October 27, 2026 · Last updated October 27, 2026
In short: Fakes and copied content aren't allowed. Rights owners can ask us to take them down.
1. What's not allowed
- Counterfeit goods: items with a brand name or logo that weren't made or authorized by the brand owner
- Listings using brand names to describe unbranded goods (e.g., "Nike-style" in the title)
- Photos, descriptions or videos copied from other sellers or websites without permission
- Pirated media and software
2. Report infringement (rights owners)
Email hello@masiomarket.com with:
- your name, contact details, and your relationship to the rights owner
- the trademark, copyright or design concerned (with registration number if registered)
- links to the listings on Masio
- a short explanation of why they infringe
- a statement that the information is accurate and that you're authorized to act
We aim to act within 2 business days.
3. What we do
We remove or disable the listing, tell the seller, and record a strike. Three strikes in 12 months leads to a permanent ban. Clear counterfeit cases may lead to an immediate ban.
4. Counter-notice (sellers)
If you believe a listing was removed by mistake, for example because the item is genuine and you have the receipt or distributor invoice, reply within 14 days with evidence. We may restore the listing and tell the person who complained.
5. Buyers
If you think you bought a fake, report it with photos (Report → Counterfeit). Counterfeit items are covered by the minimum return rules in Returns & Refunds.
